This propaganda poster is a perfect example of a scare tactic that was used by the American Government to push agendas which appears to be completely unrelated to the war. They also used the faces of the two main leaders of the enemy forces (Hitler and Tojo) to get their point across even further. This example focuses on preventing forest fires, which can apparently help the enemies to win the war against America. The American Government used this tactic in many of their propaganda posters.

Interesting Propaganda Posters
I was looking around on Google for some interesting propaganda posters, something that appealed to me. Luckily for me, I didn't have to look far to see some really interesting propaganda posters. Here is an example of one:

This is another example of scare tactics that was used by the American government to push completely unrelated agendas to the American people. This example focuses on carpooling, and if you don't carpool with anyone, you apparently ride with Hitler. Both of the above posters are just a few of the many other propaganda posters that were created by the American government. How successful these posters were at getting their message across is an entirely different story.

The car sharing thing was completely relevant. Tanks and supply vehicles used gasoline, and if civilians used less, then there would theoretically be more available for the military. I don't understand the forest fire poster, but we shouldn't light forests on fire anyway.
